Dr. Gi Hyuk Choi

Dr. Gi-Hyuk Choi is a Director for Convergence Technology Research Center of KARI. His relevant work experience includes his career as a Director of Korean Astronaut Project Division (2004-2008) where he worked for the first Korean astronaut project, selection of astronaut candidates, training, development of 18 micro-gravity experiments in the ISS, advertisement, administration, and international coordination. His background in space exploration includes his career as a Head of Space Science Research Team (2008-2009) and Director of Lunar Exploration Research (2014-2016), where he worked for the mission design and international cooperation of Korea’s lunar exploration program.
