Dr. TIAN Yulong，Vice Administrator of CNSA since August, 2018, was born in May of 1963, graduated from Shenyang Collage of Aeronautic Industry with Bachelor degree in 1985, and gained PhD degree from Huazhong Science and Technology University in 2006.

His career started as an engineer in China Aerospace Corporation (now is CASIC), responsible for the research on the space engineering in 1985.

In 1998, he started to serve in CNSA, as the Deputy Director General of the Science, Technology and Quality department. Then he acted as the Deputy Director General of System Engineering, CNSA from 2008 to 2010, and Deputy Director General of Earth Observation System and Data Center, CNSA from 2010 to 2013. In the meanwhile, He was appointed as the chief designer of ground system for earth observation in 2010, and was promoted as the Director General of System Engineering Department, CNSA in 2013.

In 2015, He was appointed as the Secretary General of CNSA in 2015, and started to serve as the Vice Administrator of CNSA since 2018.
