Dr. Le Xuan Huy is currently the Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC) of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST). He also serves as Deputy Chairman of Project Management Unit of Vietnam Space Center Project which is one of the most important national projects for the research and development of space science and technology in Vietnam. At VNSC, he is in charge of space technology sector.
Dr. Huy holds a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2014. His research interests focus on small earth observation satellites development and space systems engineering. From 2007 to now, he has been involved in many small satellite development projects, especially “Made in Vietnam” satellites such as PicoDragon, NanoDragon and MicroDragon.
