Satoshi Kogure is Senior Chief Officer of Satellite Navigation Technology, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). He received an MS in aeronautical engineering from Nagoya University in 1993 and an another MS in aerospace engineering from University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001. He started his career at satellite operation division in National Space Development Agency (NASDA), former.

He is a member of Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Science, Institute of Position, Navigation and Timing of Japan, as well as U.S. Institute of Navigation. He was awarded 2021 Capt. P.V.H Weems award.
