Arpan Kumar Sahoo is the co-founder and COO at KaleidEO, a subsidiary of SatSure Analytics India Pvt Ltd. KaleidEO is involved in the development of optical payloads, space systems and data analytics including AI on EDGE. Currently the startup focuses on building hi-resolution multispectral imagers which would be part of a constellation of satellites. He graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder with MSc in Aerospace and did his Bachelors in Aerospace from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum. He started his early career in ISRO as spacecraft mechanism designer having got a chance to work on projects like Chandrayan-2, Adithya-L1 and GSAT-11 among others. He is passionate about building innovative payload technologies and delivering value from space with measurable impact. When he is not involved in running operations, he can be found with a book, coffee and music in the background.
