Kamaruzzaman Wahid is the Director of Strategic Applications Division at the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA). During his 25 years tenure in the civil service at previously the Malaysian Remote Sensing Agency (ARSM) and currently MYSA, he has carried out various research, in particularly involving spatial and satellite images data analysis, development of new applications related to mapping and remote sensing. Previously he was the Director for the Space Science and Exploration Division which involve in the space sciences and exploration research and development. He holds an MSc in Specialization in Build Environment from University Technology MARA, Malaysia and BSc in Surveying and Mapping Sciences, University of East London, UK. He has an extensive expertise and experience in GIS, remote sensing, space science research, technical operation and policy which has enabled him to carry out various scope of duties in MYSA.
