Dr. Shiann-Jeng Yu is the Deputy Director General of the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA). He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1995 and 1991, respectively, and his B.S. degree from Chung Yuan Christian University in 1989. With a robust background in electrical engineering, Dr. Yu has held numerous key positions, including Acting Director General and Deputy Director General at the National Space Organization (NSPO), TASA's predecessor. His extensive experience spans various leadership roles, including serving as the Administration Director and Deputy Director at the National Center for High-Performance Computing. Dr. Yu has been actively involved in Taiwan's space and aeronautical communities, serving on the council of the Aeronautical and Astronautical Society of the Republic of China and the Academia-Industry Consortium for Southern Taiwan Science Park. His contributions have been instrumental in advancing Taiwan's space technology and research initiatives.
