Yao Jianting, Deputy Director General of China National Space Administration(CNSA) International Cooperation Department, was born in 1964, graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with Bachelor and Master’s degrees.
He started his career as engineer in China Academy of Space Technology(CAST), responsible for the Quality& Reliability Assurance of space components in 1990.
In 1996, he started serving as PA Engineer of Sino-1 satellite, then Vice General Manager in Satellite company of CASIC. In 2005, he served as Deputy Division Director of CNSA International Cooperation Division, then promoted as Vice General Manager in Beijing Institute of Spacecraft Environment Engineering in 2008, Deputy Director General of AIT Center of CNSA in 2017.
He was appointed as Deputy Director General of CNSA International Cooperation Department in September, 2020.
