Day 3 & Day 4: Plenary session
On Dec 8, the APRSAF Plenary session started with Singaporean Dance.
Following the cultural performance, opening remarks were made by Mr. Joseph Hui, Deputy Chief Executive, Technology & Corporate Development, National Environment Agency, Singapore, and keynote addresses were delivered by co-organizers, Dr. Tetsuhiko Ikegami, Chairman, Space Activities Commission (SAC), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan and Mr. Tan Choo Shian, Deputy Managing Director, Economic Development Board (EDB), Singapore.

Country reports from Asia-Pacific countries were presented following the summary of APRSAF-17, reported by Australia. There were also presentations by NASA and international organizations. The country reports and presentations were followed by active discussion by participants.

Questions/comments from the floor
In the morning session of the second day of the Plenary, reports on three APRSAF initiative activities, Sentinel Asia, STAR joined by UNIFORM, and SAFE were presented. A report on the previous day's astronaut event was also given. In the afternoon, four APRSAF working groups, EO, CSA, SEA, and SEU summarized their 2-day sessions, and gave their recommendations to the Plenary.

After the reports, APRSAF-18 recommendations were adopted by all participants.
At the very end of the APRSAF-18, it was announced that APRSAF-19 would be hosted by ANGKASA (Malaysia) and held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from December 11 to 14, 2012.
Technical tours were conducted in the afternoon of Day 4, Dec 9.

In the evening of Day 2, Dec 7, APRSAF-18 special event, entitled "Asian's in Space: Achievements of Human Spaceflight in Asian Countries" was held at the Science Centre Singapore (SCS), featuring four astronauts/cosmonauts, Dr. Prunariu (Romania), Mr. Noguchi (Japan), Dr. Mussabayev (Kazakhstan) and Dr. Shukor (Malaysia). Not only APRSAF-18 participants but also the general public from Singapore, including young students, enjoyed the event.
