- Registration for APRSAF-24
We are accepting online registrations for APRSAF-24. Please complete your registration online no later than October 5, 2017. We are looking forward to your participation.

- Application for APRSAF-24 Exhibition
We are accepting applications for APRSAF-24 exhibition, scheduled from November 14-17. Those who wish to apply, please fill in the application form, and send it to the APRSAF-24 secretariat (Email: aprsaf24aprsaf.org). The due date for the application is September 30, 2017.
- Entries Invited for APRSAF-24 Water Rocket Event and Poster Contest
As usual, this year's APRSAF Water Rocket Event will take place two days before the APRSAF-24 regular sessions, and its Poster Contest will be held parallel with the session term. The closing date for submitting the entry form for the Water Rocket Event is September 14, 2017. For the Poster Contest, the last date for receiving the digital copies of the selected posters is September 29, 2017.

- APRSAF Newsletter No. 26 PDF Version is Now Available
In this issue, focusing on the upcoming APRSAF-24 in Bengaluru, the general co-chairs give their welcome messages to the expected participants, and four working group co-chairs provide the scope of their sessions at the annual meeting. Moreover, the Executive Director of Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) has contributed a fabulous message.

- MGA 9th Conference: Registration has been opened
The 9th Multi-GNSS Asia (MGA) Conference will be held at AYANA Midplaza Jakarta in Indonesia from October 9-11, 2017. The main theme of this year's conference will be "Next Generation Multi-GNSS Resilient Solutions for Sustainable Development."
In addition, registration is open and the second announcement has been uploaded on the MGA website.

- Indonesian Manufactured N-219 Aircraft Successfully Completes First Test Flight
The National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) announced that the first test flight of the "N219" aircraft, which is in development with PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI), was completed successfully on August 16, 2017. The N219 is a 19-passenger plane designed by LAPAN and manufactured by PTDI, and its first prototype took off and landed smoothly at the Husein Sastranegara International Airport in Bandung. The test flight duration was 30 minutes.

- Third Quasi-Zenith Satellite "MICHIBIKI No. 3" launched by the H-IIA Launch Vehicle
The H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 35 (H-IIA F35) with the third Quasi-Zenith Satellite "MICHIBIKI No. 3" on board was launched at 2:29:00 p.m. on August 19, 2017 (JST) from JAXA's Tanegashima Space Center. The fourth satellite "MICHIBIKI No. 4" is scheduled to launch on October 10, 2017 (JST).

- SpaceX's Falcon 9 launched Taiwan's Earth Observation Satellite FORMOSAT-5
On August 24, 2017 (UTC), SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket delivered FORMOSAT-5, an Earth observation satellite, for Taiwan's National Space Organization (NSPO), to a low-Earth orbit (LEO). FORMOSAT-5 has also established communications with Taiwan Ground Station as planned.

- The Space Science and Technology Conference in Vietnam Welcomes Submission of Abstracts
International University (HCMIU) and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) will hold the Space Science and Technology Conference from December 12-15, 2017. The main goal of the conference is to promote research activities in Space Sciences and Technology, such as Planetary Science, Remote Sensing, and Rockets, in Vietnam and other Asian countries. Online registration has started in July, and is open until September 30, 2017.

- Turkey's Communication Satellite "Turksat 6A" Enters Test Production Phase
The Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications of Turkey has announced that Turkey's first domestic communication satellite project, the Turksat 6A, is approaching the completion of its design phase. According to the ministry, the qualification test models for the designed satellite have entered production. The qualification tests of Turksat 6A are planned for the beginning of 2018, and the satellite will launch in 2020.
