APRSAF Poster Contest Calendar for 2011-2012 "Space Technology to Help the Earth"
This calendar is published by the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) Space Education and Awareness Working Group, which encourages the use of space materials to enhance education for young people and aims to stimulate intellectual curiosity and passion of young people through their involvement in space activities.
The drawings and paintings presented in this calendar were selected from entries from children aged 8 and 11 for the fifth APRSAF Poster Contest, held under the "Space Technology to Help the Earth", and displayed during the seventeenth session of APRSAF, held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in November 2010.
Following the successful celebration of the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010, APRSAF Space Education and Awareness Working Group proudly presents the imaginations of children in Asian and the Pacific.
