The STWG, with contributions from member organizations, created a Concept Note on the joint development of innovative small & cube satellites, and its progress was reported during APRSAF-26. Click here to download the Concept Note.
To summarize the discussion to date, in consideration of current resources among member organizations, joint development will proceed (until around 2021) as follows:
- Each potential participant will continue its own R&D; and
- The secretariat of the STWG will continue to call for proposals for meaningful payloads on a target satellite(s)
