Announcement of Newly Established APRSAF Awards <March 31, 2021>

At APRSAF Online 2020, held last November, the APRSAF Executive Committee officially proposed to the APRSAF community the establishment of the APRSAF Awards. The APRSAF Secretariat is now pleased to announce its call for nominations for two categories.

1. Asia-Pacific Region Excellence in Space Award

To the individual(s) with outstanding contribution having a profound impact on space-related activities in the Asia-Pacific region, and inspiring the next generation in the region through the contribution above.

2. APRSAF Space Achievement Award

To the individual(s) with significant contribution to APRSAF activities, and inspiring the next generation in the region through the contribution above.

The deadline to send nomination packages is May 31, 2021.

Benefits for the award recipients are a certificate, a trophy and an opportunity to make a presentation on the awarded achievements at the Award Ceremony which will be organized at the plenary of the APRSAF annual session!
*Travel expenses for the award recipients to attend the Award Ceremony will be borne by the APRSAF Secretariat.
